Mom in Tokyo Day 3

Friday was an early start since I had a full day of work. Mom joined me in the adventure of the morning rush hour on the trains as we made our way to Nihonbashi, the posh area of Tokyo, where I work in the most expensive department store in Japan. As I worked, mom strolled the department store to see everything was so expensive. I warned her, but she had to find out for herself. Lunch time was Chinese food. Chinese food here in Japan is a lot different from Chinese back home, but luckily it turned out to be one of moms favorite meals on her travel here in Tokyo.

During the afternoon she went shopping in Ginza, yet another posh area and bought a few things at uniqlo. I love Uniqlo, great price and decent sizes.

After work we hopped on the train and off to the bright light city of Roppongi. Located in the heart of Roppongi hills was the City View tower, 1500 yen and you can sit at a cafe 53 floors above Roppongi, where we had an amazing view of the night life of Tokyo.

Soon after we met my co-worker and grabbed a taxi to yet another posh town, Omotesando, to dine at a French restaurant. We were treated for tons of different kinds of French food and delicious alcoholic drinks.

After a long day, we headed back home to rest up for out next day adventure.
