Ziplining

Ziplining! What a rush!

It's been a while! But I'm back, and here to bring with me my exciting ziplining adventure. During my birthday, my mother thought it would be a nice family event for us to do, and we headed out on a sunny Sunday afternoon, and drove down to French River, Nova Scotia to Anchors Above Zipline.

We drove through the back roads and arrived at the spot. It wasn't much, a net at the bottom to catch you as you get to the end, and a small building for the helmets and gear.

There was a bit of a hike to get to the top of the mountain, and the bugs were quite bad, but once we got to the top, we were ready to go. Helmets strapped in, gear checked and double checked, it was time to fly. And fly we did. My mother was the first to go, and down she went with a scream. I was last to go, and what a rush. Heart was pounding, the wind flying all around you and the sight was amazing. I hope to go once again this fall just as all the leaves have changed to their golden tones to attempt to snap a shot of the view.
