Fall Freakture!

Cheers to the happy newlydeads!
That wonderful time of year, when the leaves start changing to beautiful hues of red, yellow and orange. There's a slight chill in the air, nights cool down....and if you live in Nova Scotia, you can expect weather anything from summer days to cold, freezing, snowy days. So far we've had gorgeous, summer like days, freezing hail, and even frost and snow. Typical Canadian weather. But what is the best thing about fall? Fall means, Halloween! Oh, how I love Halloween. Trick or treat, or smell my feet. Candy apples, and candy corn.

I remember when I was just a child, my mom would always buy my Halloween costume at a size that would fit over a snowsuit. We had snow, rain, heat and cold on Halloween, and it's hard to say what it'll be be.

Best things about Halloween is seeing all the little kids dressed up in their costumes, and all the Halloween treats, I do admit to having a sweet tooth...maybe more than one. ;)

Speaking of sweet tooth, my favorite sweet to eat would be ice cream. Out in Pictou, there is small variety store called Milside and offer many varsities of ice cream. This time around I chose 'Melted Snowman' and 'Cotton Candy'. Cotton Candy is what you imagine it to be; and melted snowman is vanilla and peanut butter swirls with chocolate chips. Which I thought was cute, associating the chocolate chips as the eyes, mouth and buttons, which tasted DE-licious! Oh no Mr Snowman! I'm sorry to eat you. haha

Another thing I love about Halloween are all the decorations you see everywhere you go. Milside did not lack at the that. Outside they had a spooky crypt scene, with hands reaching through the dirt in a graveyard, and bodies hanging from trees.

Expect more sppooookkkkyyy Halloween photos this month! Feel free to share your Halloween shots by emailing me at I would love to post them and share them with everyone, with your permission of course ;)

The Newlydeads!
So many apples! I want to make candy apples!

I have a friend who came to visit me! What a good pup to pose for me.

Wouldn't want to meet these guys on a dark night.
