Remember March 11th, the Great Earthquake of Japan.

It's been just over a year since the big earthquake in Japan, a 9.0 hit. Here in Japan life continues to go on, because really? What can we do? They expect another great earthquake with the next 4 years, so stores have started to offer special earthquake packages with helmets, water, dry food, and fire blankets all stored inside. Even on TV I've seen shows about new tiny oval containers where you can fit up to 4 people in it, and it'll protect you from fire, tsunami and falling items. This past week the next and TV has been showing caps from the earthquake. It's hard to watch without feeling so sad. Telling stories about survivors and videos of all the destruction. On March 11th at 2:46pm people stopped to remember. All around the world people paused to remember this horrible moment.

The cleanup still continues, and the nuclear plants are still not under complete control. When will Japan have it's peace? To this day people are still missing and over 19,000 dead. But Japan is strong, and the people continue to live, and are stronger and work harder then ever.

Here is my post of the earthquake I wrote...March 11th Japan Earthquake
