Ventured out early morning last week to Narita-San. A very famous shrine in Chiba. We left around 4am and arrived at 530am. It wasn't too crowded and headed to the shrine. Tossed in our coin, made our good years wish and went inside for the ceremony. Which last 40 mins and it was a very typical Japanese event. During the middle can the huge drum hit. I was shocked. Didn't expect such a loud noise.
At the end they had a fire burning so they let people pass them their bags or items and put it in the smoke for a few seconds. This is supposed to be very good luck.
After which we had some yakisoba and drove home and back to bed. (^_−)−☆
